Four Essential Guidelines for Selecting Your Image:
Image Resolution/Quality: Aim for high resolution; the clearer, the better.
Proximity to the Camera: Subjects closer to the camera provide more detailed captures. Opt for close-up shots for optimal clarity.
Lighting: Choose photos with uniform lighting. Light sources should align with the camera's perspective to avoid intense backlight and shadows on the subjects, as well as to prevent dark images and the use of color filters.
Canvas Size: Select larger canvases for enhanced detail capture, with a minimum size recommendation of 16x20 inches for intricate images. Ensure the dimensions of your photo correspond to the canvas size (e.g., use a square canvas for a square photo).
Important: Refrain from using small fonts in your image, as the paint by numbers software struggles to accurately depict and render small text legibly. I have started to do the Xmas coasters and am really pleased with them, they don't take long but look good when finished, a sealant varnish is provided. I have not yet done the bigger picture I ordered but looking at it, I feel it's the same quality as the coasters, so will be good as well.
Received but was a bit disappointed because the numbers were small but have given it to a younger person. Thank you..🙂
Just finished painting the first picture. I did use a different paint brush to the one supplied but the paint is very smooth and easy to apply. This is a nice project as the paintings only take a couple of days to complete. Will consider buying again.
